I don’t know you, but when I am at home I spend most of my time in my bed, and I love doing so. But usually it’s full of mess, because of my eyeglasses, my books, my smartphone or my tablet. That’s why I wanna share with you this DIY to show you how to make a hanging bedside organizer.
To begin you will need 2/3 yard of a single fabric, 3 1/2 yards double-fold seam binding, a 20″ x 10″ strip non skip rug pad, a thread to match seam binding and a 1/2 an hour of your time ;) .
Now cut a 20″ x 48″ long strip of the fabric, then fold the fabric in half lengthwise, right sides together. Fold the bound edge up by 8″ to make a pocket. Cut 9″ length of seam binding and slip one cut edge under the binding. Use the remaining single length of seam binding to finish the two long sides and the bottom. Finally, make a sandwich with the rest of your seam binding, the 20″ by 10″ strip non-skid rug pad in the middle, and the top edge of the organizer on the bottom.
